Creataverse

Imagine a mix between Terraria, Minecraft, and Trove. That is what I am trying to do with

Creataverse. Creataverse is taking all of the best things from each game and adding its own

special features to it. For example, it is going to have the mining, building, farming, etc from

Minecraft, the enemies, bosses, weapons, and tools from Terraria, and the multiplayer structure

from Trove. But then with great graphics, optimizations, and easier moddability added to it.

Please note, I don't intend on just taking all of the items from each game directly,  but I am

going to improve upon a basic sandbox genre with the best general ideas from the 3 of them

to make one amazing sandbox game. Creataverse is currently still in alpha stages, but I'm hoping

to get the first demo released sometime in January.

:Beta Testing:

Creataverse is currently in need of a few beta testers. There are a few requirements to even

become one but if you are interested simply go to the Beta Testing Request page and follow its steps.

NEWS

Creataverse is going to take different approach to world design in its demo.

In its first stages (and as an option later on) Creataverse's world will not be randomly generated, it will be hand-made without any programming or algorithms. One problem that I've always had with Minecraft  is its world generation, you either have a decent world that slowly gets repetitive the more you walk through it or a small island with nothing on it that forces you to just go and make another world. To avoid that and to add more features to the world I am going to make the entire world myself, to prevent you just spawning in the same area over and over again however, I will make the world massive with different spawns as a solution. It will also allow me to make it more precise and guarantee that your world will always be able to grow. I am also hoping to make each biome have a different difficulty and different creatures depending on what that biome is, so that instead of getting good loot and then just farming and building endlessly you can venture out into more difficult areas of the game and improve even more. I am also hoping to add different stages to the game (like terraria after you kill the wall of flesh) to make it even more of a challenge. I am also hoping to make mobs like villagers actually serve a purpose like giving quests, hinting towards caves and stuff, or even just as shop-keeps instead of just trading a random item for another random item.

Even though I don't have any pictures or videos for this Update 0.02 just added a full character controller with features like full animation, walking, sprinting, jumping, crouching, etc.

Update 0.01 added Final IK integrations to improve almost any animation's quality. This feature is currently in extreme beta and has already been improved upon only hours later.
